Every year Sweden has a ceremony in Stockholm where all new swedes can come to have a ‘fika’ – so that they can call themselves swedes for real. I mean, you are not a real swede if you’ve never had ‘fika’! It is also a way to celebrate that they got the Swedish citizenship – hooray!

I think this is really cute and a nice way to welcome all the new swedes. And isn’t it nice to hear that people say that Sweden is the country where babies don’t cry, dogs don’t bark and cars stop?

The Mexican guy in this video has become a really sweet and positive swede. He didn’t really catch the Swedish way of complaining about the weather, quite the opposite actually. Maybe swedes should learn a bit from his way of thinking.
