The Swedish military is actually bigger and stronger than you might think, for a country who always tries to stay out of trouble. Sweden has not participated in a war for decades; it has even stayed natural in the world wars. Well, sort of.

A while back, Sweden took away the conscription, but since only 6% of the population thought they had to be ready to defend themselves it was brought back in January 2018. This even though men and women are allowed to have an active role in the military forces.

Sweden is nor really interested in picking a fight, but have a defence better than many other countries. As there are no plans of starting a war there are no weapons of mass destruction in the country.
Instead Sweden has provided many troupes for UN peace keeping missions, with great outcomes.
